Daylong with Monastic Sister Ayya Anandabodhi from Aloka Vihara
Theme: "Taking Refuge in What is True"
Saturday, October 14th 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM
The Buddha pointed to the way of awakening the heart and mind in recognizing that liberation happens when "taking refuge in what is true." On this daylong Ayya Anandabodhi will offer meditation guidance, both sitting and walking and Dhamma reflections. There will also be opportunities for questions and discussion.
Since the beginning of Buddhism over 2500 years ago, Buddhist nuns and monks have depended on almsfood. In this spirit, you are invited to bring food to offer and to share with others.
